Every dog who comes into RSPCA Victoria spends 8 days in quarantine. It’s critical to keep all the animals we care for safe from disease. But most importantly, those 8 days are when we give suffering animals the most intense care. We assess their condition, treat wounds and infections, undertake surgery, feed, nurse and evaluate their mental condition.
It’s when dogs like Nora, need us most.
Every day, RSPCA Victoria assesses and gives treatment to 19 new dogs coming into our care.
This is critical for the health of the dog and for the prevention of spreading disease.
Our wonderful and caring team spend countless hours with each dog to rebuild the trust that has been broken.
