The RSPCA Education team engages students using live animals, powerful visual presentations and real life animal case-studies.

We offer the following programs, which are all accompanied by downloadable teacher resources with pre- and post-visit activities.

Pets, Pets, Pets

Foundation - Level 2
excursion and incursion available

Students will be encouraged to develop a basic understanding of the needs of animals and will learn more about the responsibilities involved in owning and caring for an animal. Activities include listening to an RSPCA animal story, meeting an education animal and delving into a bag of items related to the needs of animals. If students come and visit us, they will meet many of our education animals residing in our barn.

Students will meet our farm animals, feed a cow, pat a sheep, get up close and personal with a pony and look at the roles animals play in our lives. Activities also include listening to an RSPCA animal story, where the needs of farm animals are explored and compared with our own.
