Only 7.6% of children wash their hands every time they come into contact
with their pets. Zoonosis is the term used to represent diseases that can be
transferred from animals to human. There are approximately 50 different
types of zoonoses in Australia, so this program will focus on a few of the
more common occurring diseases students may come into contact with.
