Sponsorship - RSPCA Animal
Ambulance
The RSPCA Animal Ambulances play a vital role in supporting the
community by providing around the clock emergency care for animals in
the Melbourne metropolitan area. Our Ambulances rescue sick, seriously
injured or stray animals, bringing them back to our Burwood East Shelter
for care and rehabilitation.
In the past year alone, the Ambulance service has rescued 2,189 animals,
which is an average of 42 animals a week.
It costs the RSPCA more than $317,198 per year to run this vital
service, which operates 24-hours a day, seven days a week. With the cost
of providing the Ambulance service to the community continuing to
increase, we are proud to announce our new RSPCA Animal Ambulance
Sponsor – Go Diego Go.

Go Diego Go is an animated children’s series created by the team at
Nikelodeon. The show features an eight year old boy by the name of Diego
Marquez who helps animals in dangerous situations as he hears their
cries for help from his Animal Rescue Centre in the rainforest. As Diego
continues to teach children the value of responsible pet ownership
through his animal rescue endeavours in Go Diego Go, we are pleased to
be partnering with Nikelodeon as sponsors of our Animal Ambulance
service.
Thanks to the support of the team at Nikelodeon and Go Diego Go, we are
able to continue providing this service to the greater Melbourne
community, and ensure that animals in need of our care are given a
second chance at happiness.
