Wish listRSPCA - Help the RSPCA | RSPCA's Wishlist

Donate to our wish list and help the RSPCA care for ‘all creatures great and small’.  Our wish list helps you donate towards a specific item needed by RSPCA shelters. We always strive to provide animals with the very best of care but there are times when our budget cannot be stretched to incorporate new and specialised equipment. Your generous contribution to our wish list will greatly improve our quality of care and service to animals in need.

All contributions to the following items are welcome:

Burwood East

Veterinary Clinic

  • Stethoscopes - $250 each.

  • Orthoscope - $600.

  • Infusion pumps - $2,000 each.

  • Bed air warmer to maintain an anima's body temperature during surgery - $2,500.

  • Stainless steel cages for cat ward - $10,000.

  • General upgrade of equipment – all donations welcome.

  • Part subscription to veterinary information website - $500. This will help us keep up with advances in veterinary medical knowledge for the best treatment of our animals.

RSPCA Inspectorate

  • Microchip scanners for each Inspector vehicle – 19 required at $650 each.

  • Cat grabbers – 3 required at $150 each.

  • Dog catch poles – 3 required at $300 each.

  • Large water containers for Inspector vehicles – 19 required at $25 each.

  • Binoculars – 5 pairs required at $100 each.

  • Laptop computer- $2,500.  Inspectors often work on the road'' and having a laptop computer is critically needed in order to document animal cruelty matters. Laptops save many, many hours of work and delays in communication.

  • Animal-handling gloves for dangerous animals – 5 required at $190 each.

Animal Welfare Centre
 

Shelter, education and adoptions

  • Laminator for our shelter offices - $350.

  • Office chairs - $950.

  • Pooper 'Scoopers - 12 required at $20 each.

  • Dog-catching poles - 4 required at $280 each.

  • Feed buckets – 5 required at $20 each.

  • Rakes, brooms, bins, buckets and tubs for our shelter - $450.

  • Protective gloves - 4 pairs required at $175 each.

  • Veterinary cages - 3 required at $160 each.

  • Weighing scales for wildlife - $60.

  • Heat pads for wildlife - $150.

  • Microchip scanners for identifying lost pets - 2 required at $1,200 each.

  • Enrichment toys for animals awaiting adoption - $200.

Maintenance

  • Portable welding kit and accessories - $2,000.

Mornington Peninsula - Pearcedale

  • Pooper Scoopers - 4 required at $20 each.

  • Cat bowls - 60 required at $4 each.

  • Dog leads - 20 required at $10 each.

  • Cat pens for overnight holding - $1,000.

  • Microchip scanner for identifying stray pets - $550.

  • Training leads for horses in our care - 2 required at $50 each.

  • Heat lamps for animals in Adoptions - $1,000.

  • Humidifier for sick cats and kittens - $80.

  • Halters for horses in our care - 15 required at $20 each.

  • Digital camera - $500.

  • Gum boots for staff and volunteers working in the shelter - 10 required at $20 each.

  • Horse balls to provide enrichment for horses in our care - 2 required at $60 each.
     

Ballarat

No items are needed at this time at RSPCA Ballarat but donations of blankets, towels and cat/dog toys are most welcome.
 

 

Bendigo

  • Dog-catching  pole - $300.

  • Cat catchers for capturing feral cats - 2 required at $300 each.

  • Cleaning equipment and hoses - $500.

  • Pooper Scoopers - 20 required at a total cost of $400.

  • Cash register for our shelter - $800.

  • Dog Kong toys to provide enrichment for dogs - 20 required at $20 each.

  • Cat tunnels for cats awaiting adoption - 3 required at $30 each.

  • Microchip scanner for identifying lost pets - $627.

Castlemaine

  • Microchip scanner for identifying lost pets - $627.

  • Clothes line for drying bedding - $300.

Central Gippsland/ Sale

  • Pooper Scoopers - 4 required at $20 each.

  • Dog leads - 5 required at $20 each.

  • Microchip scanner for identifying lost pets - $550.

  • Dog and cat bowls - $200.

  • Cat litter - 30 bags required at $9.50 each.

  • Trolley for transporting large food bags - $150.

  • Ramps for our cat pens - $300.

  • Clear outdoor blinds to protect adoption cats from the elements - $600.


Epping

No items are needed at this time at RSPCA Epping but donations of blankets, towels and dog toys are most welcome.
 

Portland

  • Microchip scanner for identifying lost pets - $627.

  • Hoses and fittings for cleaning the shelter - $500.

  • Dog Kong toys to provide enrichment for dogs - 10 required at $20 each.

  • Cat tunnels for cats awaiting adoption - 2 required at $30 each.

Wangaratta

  • Microchip scanner for identifying lost pets - $627.

  • Hoses and fittings for cleaning the shelter - $500.

  • Dog Kong toys to provide enrichment for dogs - 20 required at $20 each.

  • Pooper Scoopers - 10 required at $20 each.

Warrnambool

No items are needed at this time at RSPCA Warrnambool but donations of blankets, towels and dog toys are most welcome.

Please note: Prices quoted are estimates only.  Also, where excess funds remain after purchase of an item, they will be spent where most needed to support the RSPCA's animal welfare work.
