Workplace fundraising

Are you looking for a fun way to help the RSPCA?

Why not get together with work colleagues and fundraise to support our work?

Each dollar you raise will help us care for more than more than 28,000 animals across Victoria in the year ahead.  As a not-for-profit organisation, the RSPCA relies on community support to care for 'all creatures great and small'.  More than 90% of the RSPCA's funding is due to the generous support of the Victorian community.

Fundraising ideas for your workplace

Go Casual for a cause!
Hold regular casual dress days for a gold coin donation.

Hold an office raffle!
Ask your colleagues to each bring in an item to donate towards a raffle hamper. You could even raffle a day off from the office - if your boss approves. This has been a hit with our corporate partners.

Put out your Wombats!
RSPCA branded wombat collection boxes are a great way to raise funds in your office. They can be placed on reception desks to collect funds from employees and external vistors.

Pay for a pat!
Organise a few staff members bring their dogs into the office and ask employees to pay for a pat with a gold coin or note donation.

Eat like a horse!
Organise a morning or afternoon tea or a lunchtime fundraiser in your office. Ask staff to contribute a small amount each towards the event and donate the funds.

Register a Corporate Team in an RSPCA event!
Annual RSPCA events that your workplace can get involved in...
Million Paws Walk – May
Cupcake Day – August

How the RSPCA can provide support for your fundraiser

Use the official RSPCA Corporate Supporter logo to promote our alignment.

Your business will be given permission to use the exclusive ‘RSPCA Corporate Supporter’ logo on your website or any other marketing collateral you would like to produce to promote your fundraiser.

Important: The RSPCA name and logo use is carefully managed. You will be sent the appropriate logo and guidelines for the use of this logo once your fundraising activity is approved. Please remember that all artwork to promote your fundraiser must be approved by the RSPCA Victoria’s Corporate Relations Coordinator prior to print.

The RSPCA can provide supporting items to make your fundraiser a success!
  • RSPCA money collection wombats or money boxes for your office.
  • Supporting material such as brochures about the RSPCA with information on how your staff can get more involved.
  • Provide RSPCA merchandise for sale (tennis balls, paw pins and button badges).
  • Host kits are also available for certain events such as Cupcake Day.
  • A visit from an RSPCA staff member with a special RSPCA canine friend!
*Special conditions do apply in these cases and mutual availability of both RSPCA staff and dogs would need to be considered on a case by case basis.

A certificate of appreciation for your business on completion of your fundraiser
Once your workplace fundraiser is complete and funds have been sent to the RSPCA, you can expect to receive a certificate of appreciation for your business as a thank you for your outstanding efforts. This can be displayed in your place of work to recognise your business’s commitment to animal welfare.

Organising your workplace fundraiser is as easy as 1,2,3!

Step 2
The RSPCA Victoria Corporate Relations Coordinator will get in contact with you within 5 business days of receipt of your application to fundraise to approve your activities and provide you with any relevant support for your event as detailed above.
They will also advise on how you can return funds to the RSPCA after your fundraiser is complete.

To keep things nice and simple, you can also set up an online fundraising page to help keep a running tally of your fundraising efforts.
