A Dog's Day Out - Tesselaar Tulip Festival
After another amazing season of colour, beauty, and fun The Tesselaar Tulip Festival is now closed for 2011.
Hundreds of people attended the 2011 RSPCA Charity Day, with their family and pooches to wander through over half a million Tulips made up of more than a hundred different dreamy varieties. There was no question about it competition was tough for contestants in our ‘Best Dressed Dog’, ‘Best Trick’ and ‘Pet Owner look alike’ competitions, but our lucky winners went away with some fantastic pooch packs. All in all the day was an absolute success!
An estimated $6000 was raised for ‘all creatures great and small’ from gate proceeds, which will go a long way to care for the animals currently in our care here at the RSPCA.
Thank you to everyone who attended the RSPCA Charity Day and the Tesselaar Team for your support of the RSPCA and animal welfare throughout Victoria.
