If you care about animals and want to see an end to cruelty, show your support at the RSPCA and Animals Australia National Rallies on Sunday 14 August 2011. Live animal export is the cruelest trade Australia's ever known. We're gathering to show our support for legislation that can end the trade.
This is your chance to join others at a family-friendly event, to demand Australia make legislative changes to ensure our future is free from the cruelty of live animal export.
Why rally on August 14?
Federal Parliament will vote on a bill to end the cruel live
export trade on Thursday August 18, 2011. This is your opportunity to
lend your support to this legislation, so that our politicians
understand that the majority of Australians support animal welfare.
What will happen at the rally?
- Hear from Animals Australia investigator Lyn White.
- Get the latest updates from RSPCA spokespeople, leading politicians, and other inspiring speakers.
- Sign our petition to stand up for animal welfare in this country.
- Gain materials to write to your MP before August 18 to ask for their support.
- Join thousands of Australians who are taking a stance against the cruelest trade Australia's ever known.
