Who could resist a little face like Harley's?
This lovable boy found his happy ending thanks to the RSPCA Adoption
program. Although Harley is a lucky boy who is now living the good life,
his beginning wasn't quite as rosy.
Harley arrived at RSPCA Burwood East with lots of other
rabbits, whose owner could no longer care for them. Harley
was very timid
and thin and was also suffering from a severe break in his
hind leg,
which needed urgent medical attention. Our expert team of vets
performed surgery on Harley's fragile leg, and after a short time in
foster care, he was soon hopping fit and on his way to a new forever home!
Having made a full recovery from his surgery, Harley's
new mum couldn't imagine life without him. He has acquired a new found
confidence and is a very affectionate bunny who loves nothing more than
a cuddle on the couch. Harley is a house rabbit who lives indoors 24 hours a day, and he loves to run the ‘Bunny 500’ around the lounge room! Sharing
his home with a noisy parrot and a dog, Harley has learnt to use his voice and can often be heard grunting with excitement as he binkies
his way around the house! |
