Hi there, my name is Skye and
if you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an expression of interest form and a RSPCA staff member will contact you as soon as possible.
I'm a sweet yet sassy mare standing at approximately 15.2 HH. I've had a rough start to life, after my racing days I was living in a herd with no love or attention. I came into RSPCA very skinny and under nourished with my skin riddled in rainscald. It took me a while but after a few months and receiving the care I need, I'm now ready to find my new forever home.
I raced in my early days, with my last race being in 2011. Although i haven't been ridden in a few years, I think I would make an awesome ridden horse for someone after some retraining. My teeth haven't been that well looked after so ill need some regular dental work for a little while.
My ideal home would be with someone who is willing to put time, love and effort into my training so we can form a strong bond. With the right partner I think we could make a team to be reckoned with . I would love to live with other horses as i did come into the shelter with a big group of friends. I do like to be in control and take charge of the horses around me but don't let that deter you, I am a sweetie pie.
I am great to catch, worm, rug, vaccinate and have my hooves trimmed.
If you think it sounds like you could offer me a great home, please don't hesitate to fill out an expression of interest form for me!
I am not desexed.
