Hi there, my name is Malta and
if you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an expression of interest form and a RSPCA staff member will contact you as soon as possible.
I am a very pretty TB mare who arrived at the shelter in very poor condition. Like most of my friends I came in with, I was emaciated and covered in a severe case of rainscald. I was very depressed when I came in as I was feeling terrible, I didn't understand what I had done to end up in such poor condition.
Fast forward a couple of months and I am a different horse! You wouldn't recognise me now if you had seen me when I first arrived. I am now healthy and happy, and my coat is almost all grown back after losing most of it due to my rainscald. I am feeling great too, I love nothing more than to kick up my heels and have a good hoon around with my paddock buddies.
I am a sensitive girl, I don't think I have raced so if you wanted me as a riding horse I would need to go to a professional for some training to see how I go.
If not I think I'd be pretty happy just living a life of luxury as a companion for your current horse. I am easy to handle, good to catch, worm, rug, vaccinate and have my feet trimmed. I am sensitive however so I do require an experienced horsey home.
With my pretty, feminine looks I'm sure it won't take me long to find a home. If I sound like the woman of your dreams, please fill in an expression of interest form and organise a time to come out and meet me.
I am not desexed.
