Hi there, my name is Bonnie (Adoption Pending) and
if you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an expression of interest form and a RSPCA staff member will contact you as soon as possible.
if you are looking for the prettiest mare in the land than look no further! My list of attributes is so long, where do I start?
When I arrived at the RSPCA I was feeling pretty down, I was in really poor condition and I just couldn't understand why my friends and I had ended up in such a terrible situation, but we had no idea what amazing wonders awaited us.
We had full tummies, as much water as we wanted to drink, new pyjamas for those chilly winter nights, pedicures and endless amounts of love, cuddles and scratches - you name it we got it!
Now I am feeling and looking absolutely amazing, I am a completely different horse. I am always the first to greet you at the fence (usually in the hope of food!) and just adore to be doted on.
I am excellent to catch, rug, worm, vaccinate and have my feet trimmed. I will make an excellent partner for someone willing to put the time and effort into me. I am an ex-racehorse, so I will need some re-education by an experienced owner or professional, but I don't think it will take me long to be back under saddle kicking goals.
I last raced in 2014 when I was 6 years old, so it's been a few years but I still like to remind my paddock mates that I was the most successful racehorse out of the lot of us.
If you aren't looking for a ridden horse I think I'd be just as happy being someone's pet/paddock companion, but only if that includes lots of quality time spent with my owners.
Please don't hesitate to fill out an expression of interest form and come visit me, you won't regret it.
I am not desexed.
