Hi there, my name is Squeak and if you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an expression of interest form and a RSPCA staff member will contact you as soon as possible.
I am an older gentleman looking for a very special home for my twilight years. I came to the RSPCA from a very bad situation and have since blossomed into a healthy, happy horse.
When the inspectors came to save me they realised my teeth were so neglected and in such poor condition that they made a funny noise every time I tried to chew, which is why my name is now Squeak. I have had the dental vet out to do my teeth so they don't squeak anymore, but they are suffering from a lifetime of neglect so I am unable to eat any hay. For this reason I need to be hard fed at least twice a day every day to make sure I get enough to eat.
I am a very sensitive boy so I need someone who is nice and calm and patient who won't frighten me. I am very scared of the farrier so I will need someone who is willing and able to teach me that having my back feet picked up and trimmed is no reason to worry.
I am however good to rug and I do like a good brush. I just need that special someone to spend time with me and give me the love I deserve and I'm sure I will learn to trust them and love them back.
I am very attached to my paddock companion so I need to go to a home with another nice horse to keep me company. We spend most of our day grooming each other and sharing our dinner, I really do love company.
If you think you've got room in your heart to take on an older, fragile soul like myself, please fill out an expression of interest form.
I am desexed.
