RSPCA Wangaratta RSPCA Wangaratta operated from the leased Council pound until in the year 2000, when a separate location was purchased and subsequently redeveloped and upgraded. In the past year, RSPCA Wangaratta has provided care to more than 1,415 stray and abandoned animals. RSPCA Inspectors within the region investigate cruelty complaints reported by the community. RSPCA Victoria receives more than 14,400 cruelty complaints each year and 46% are from regional Victoria.
