About Swan Hill

TA public meeting to initiate local interest to have an RSPCA Auxiliary in Swan Hill was held in August 2002. The RSPCA Swan Hill found suitable premises to lease for a second hand goods shop and opened with much community support on 14th February 2003. The shop continues to operate with the help of dedicated volunteers to raise funds to support animal welfare services.

RSPCA Inspectors within the region attend cruelty complaints received from the public. RSPCA Victoria receives more than 9,700 cruelty complaints each year and 46% are from regional Victoria.
