RSPCA Swan Hill A public meeting to initiate local interest to have an RSPCA Auxiliary in Swan Hill was held in August 2002. The RSPCA Swan Hill found suitable premises to lease for a second hand goods shop and opened with much community support on 14 February, 2003. The shop continues to operate with the help of dedicated volunteers to raise funds to support animal welfare services. RSPCA Inspectors within the region investigate cruelty complaints received from the community.. RSPCA Victoria receives more than 14,400 cruelty complaints each year and 46% are from regional Victoria. Adoption Animals Although the RSPCA does not operate a shelter in the Swan Hill region, we have adoption centres across Victoria with lots of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits needing loving new homes. View the RSPCA adoption animals and you might just find your new best friend! Volunteering RSPCA Swan Hill relies heavily on the support of volunteers to provide local animal welfare services and fundraising activities and we regularly require the help of new volunteers. If you are over the age of 15, reliable and love animals you may be able to get involved. For more details give us a call or drop in and say hello!
