RSPCA Sale (Central Gippsland) RSPCA Sale was formed in 1978 with the shelter and council pound being established in 1981. The animal welfare shelter we now operate in Warruk was opened in 2003. In the past year, RSPCA Sale has provided care to more than 299 stray and abandoned animals. RSPCA Inspectors within the region investigate cruelty complaints reported by the community. RSPCA Victoria receives more than 14,400 cruelty complaints each year and 46% are from regional Victoria. Support the RSPCA Sale Shelter RSPCA Ballarat desperately needs community support to fund the work of their local Inspector, and to help care for the thousands of animals in the shelter receives each year.
