Local Community Presence
Lead the Way for
the RSPCA
Become an RSPCA Volunteer Leader for Your Local Community

The Local Community Presence model gives motivated, suitably skilled
volunteers an opportunity to take on a leadership position in an area that
most suits their availability and specific interests. The RSPCA is
specifically looking for volunteers in regional Victoria.
The leadership roles include; Regional Animal Welfare Campaign Leader,
Regional Fundraising Leader and Regional Events Leader. Volunteer
positions including Op Shop Sales Assistants, Shelter Workers and other
volunteer roles are also available.
The Regional Events Leader role is responsible for organising and managing
the statewide events within the local region, whereas the Regional
Fundraising Leader is responsible for organising local RSPCA fundraising
activities and building relationships with key people within the community
to support these activities. The fundraising activities within the local
region assist in providing services to those communities, which include the
animal welfare shelters, inspectors and campaigns. The Regional Animal
Welfare Campaign Leader promotes responsible animal care and community
awareness about current RSPCA campaigns.
