RSPCA Epping The RSPCA has managed our Epping shelter on behalf of the Whittlesea City Council since 1999. The shelter provides pound services for stray and unwanted animals within the Whittlesea area and helps find new homes for these animals. In addition to the number of animals adopted in Epping, many are also transported to the RSPCA Burwood East Adoption Centre to find loving new homes. In the past year, our Burwood East and Epping shelters have collectively cared for 17,832 animals. RSPCA Inspectors within the region investigate reported animal cruelty complaints received from the community. Each year, our Inspectors investigate more than 14,400 cases of reported cruelty. Support the RSPCA Epping Shelter RSPCA Ballarat desperately needs community support to fund the work of their local Inspector, and to help care for the thousands of animals in the shelter receives each year.
