Picture: Lucky handing over the donation to Isabel (Epping Shelter
Supervisor)
The Epping shelter staff
and animals would like to thank our kind volunteer Fiona who
donated a digital camera. This has enabled us to get our website
up and running which has made an enormous difference in the
amount of dogs that are finding new homes.
Thank you Fiona! About Epping
In 2007, the Epping Shelter will be re-locating to a new premises and will continue to provide quality care for the animals. The new shelter will consist of: veterinary rooms, retail space, dog adoption and quarantine pens and provide a more pleasant environment for customers, staff and volunteers. RSPCA Inspectors within the region attend cruelty complaints received from the public. RSPCA Victoria receives more than 9,700 cruelty complaints each year and 46% are from regional Victoria.
Volunteer at Epping Here is a picture of two of our dedicated volunteers, Shantelle and Angela. Rain, hail or shine they arrive at the shelter every Wednesday to walk the dogs and give them lots of TLC. Volunteers are a crucial part of the everyday running of the RSPCA Epping
shelter. Currently, RSPCA Epping has 17 active volunteers, but we always
need more. So if you are interested in becoming a volunteer at the shelter,
please contact us on: 9408-7356 to arrange an interview.
