RSPCA Echuca
About Echuca
RSPCA Echuca was established in 1991. The original shelter built in
Kyabram provided care for domestic and wildlife animals. In 1998 the shelter
was moved to its current location in Echuca and continues to provide care
for more than 2,300 unwanted and stray animals each year.
RSPCA Inspectors within the region attend cruelty complaints received
from the public. RSPCA Victoria receives more than 9,700 cruelty complaints
each year and 46% are from regional Victoria.
RSPCA relies heavily on the support of volunteers to provide local animal
welfare services and fundraising activities. Please contact the local
shelter if you would like to know more about volunteering for your local
RSPCA.
