RSPCA Ballarat Ballarat joined the RSPCA in 1968. RSPCA Ballarat provided care to 4,174 stray and abandoned animals in the past year. An RSPCA Inspector is based in Ballarat. The Inspector manages cruelty complaints for the local region, Grampians and Sunraysia regions, which account for more than 11% of the total cruelty complaints that RSPCA Victoria receives. In the past year across Victoria, our Inspectors investigated more than 14,400 cases of reported animal cruelty.
