RSPCA Bairnsdale & Lakes Entrance

About Bairnsdale & Lakes Entrance

RSPCA opened an Opportunity Shop in Lakes Entrance in 1999 and the following year opened a store in Bairnsdale to support local animal welfare services. These stores continue to operate and provide funds to support the work of the local RSPCA Inspector, RSPCA education services and animal welfare campaigns.

An RSPCA Inspector is based in Bairnsdale. The Inspector manages cruelty complaints for the local Gippsland region. The Gippsland district accounts for more than 14% of the total cruelty complaints that RSPCA Victoria receives.

RSPCA relies heavily on the support of volunteers to provide local animal welfare services and fundraising activities. Please contact the local RSPCA shop if you would like to know more about volunteering for your local RSPCA.
