RSPCA Bairnsdale
An RSPCA Inspector is based in Bairnsdale. The Inspector manages cruelty complaints for the Gippsland region, including Pakenham, Moe, Sale, Bairnsdale and Lakes Entrance. The Gippsland region accounts for more than 14% of the total cruelty complaints that RSPCA Victoria receives. Across the state, RSPCA Inspectors investigated more than 14,400 cases of reported animal cruelty in the past year.

The RSPCA opened an
opportunity shop in Bairnsdale in 2000 to support local animal welfare
services. This store continue to operate and provide funds to support the
work of the local RSPCA Inspector, education services and animal
welfare campaigns. Our shop in nearby Lakes Entrance was
operated in the community for 11years however, this store has been recently
closed.
