RSPCA Castlemaine
RSPCA Castlemaine has provided refuge, care and rehabilitation to animals since 1995 when Midland Animal Welfare joined our organisation. In the past year alone, RSPCA Castlemaine has cared for 787 animals from surrounding areas.
Our tireless work in Castlemaine and our achievements in animal welfare are only made possible with generous support from the local community. Whether you are able to contribute a financial donation, donate blankets, attend our local Million Paws Walk or spare your time as a volunteer - everything helps the animals we care for.
The operations of RSPCA Castlemaine are overseen by our Shelter Supervisor, Geoff, and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

Meet Geoff (RSPCA Castlemaine Shelter Supervisor)
Geoff has been the Shelter Supervisor here at Castlemaine for over eight years. Geoff is always very busy and his day is often extremely varied, 'One minute you're an animal attendant, the next you're a counter clerk'. His favourite part of the job is spending time with the animals and he enjoys the hands-on approach that this role provides. He believes that working in a team with the other animal attendants is a very special experience.

Microchipping
RSPCA Castlemaine now offers a microchipping
