RSPCA Bendigo
RSPCA Bendigo has provided refuge, care and rehabilitation to animals since 1977. In the past year alone, RSPCA Bendigo has cared for 4,397 animals from surrounding areas.
RSPCA Bendigo is one of our biggest and busiest regional shelters. Our tireless work in Bendigo and our achievements in animal welfare are only made possible with generous support from the local community. Whether you are able to contribute a financial donation, donate blankets, attend our local Million Paws Walk or spare your time as a volunteer - everything helps the animals we care for.
With generous community support, we were able to redevelop and upgrade our Bendigo shelter in 2009. Our upgrades included housing cats in a temperature controlled environment to protect them from the elements and dogs in north-facing kennels, so they now enjoy lots of sunshine!
The operations of RSPCA Bendigo are overseen by our Shelter Supervisor, Mark, and a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

Meet Mark (RSPCA Bendigo Shelter Supervisor)
Mark has worked at RSPCA Bendigo since December 2007. His
working day is always varied with no two days ever the same. Mark's
favourite part of his job is the success experienced through the number
of adoptions his team achieve. He feels that the most rewarding part of
his job is seeing 'fantastic animals go to fantastic homes'. Although
his job is often challenging, Mark enjoys the unique experience that
supervising a regional shelter has to offer.
